Sarah Kaushik began her professional journey in 2010 with Siddhartha Das Studio in Delhi, India, where she worked on a permanent exhibition as a part of restoring a heritage monument. Later, as an assisting scenographer with Rajeev Sethi Scenographers, Sarah also helped build the scenography for Asia’s largest art programme at the Mumbai International Airport. Rooted in her spatial staging and choreography experiences, Sarah began creating digital montages in 2017. Through provocative juxtapositions, she explores pop-realism that denies visuals, a fictional finality. Her works depict a radical multi-dimensional world that mirrors a collective unconscious sensuality. Currently, she is doing her Masters in Scenography in HKU Utrecht, Netherlands.
